I saw a link to the Weird GameWyrd Awards and decided to see what's being nominated for 2005. Much to my surprise, I am!! I'm in great company and am quite honored to be nominated for "Author Most Likely to be a Caffeine Powered Robot". Obviously, someone's been paying attention to the constant stream of Behind the Spells releases.
You'll have to create a login name to vote but I'd greatly appreciate it: http://www.gamewyrd.com/awards/wgwa2005.php

Way to go, dude! :-)
Thanks, guys, and don't forget to vote! :)
Sort of really have to vote for you on this one...
Ben Redmond - Etherscope has been in development for 2 years.
Mike Mearls - Releases 3 books last year.
August Hahn - I don't think is writing after being run too hard at Mongoose for too long.
How Adrian Bott (Drow War, Book of Unremitting Horror) or Gareth Hanrahan (70% of Mongoose's releases last year) didn't get nominated I'll never know.
But out of the nominated, I think its definitely fair to throw a vote your way.
Thanks, again. I don't know how I got nominated ahead of any of the Mongoose crowd either. I think they're run to death which is why I only freelanced for them once.
You stand among true giants of the industry. Congrats!
As an infamous politician once said "...vote early and vote often..." So I voted for you, as did my wife, my dead cat, the four cows next door...
Thanks, Chuck! And welcome to the blog.
